Alongside five fellow Democratic presidential candidates, Larry Lessig will speak at the New Hampshire Democratic Party State Convention in Manchester, New Hampshire. Recognizing that every issue — from climate change to gun safety, from Wall Street reform to defense spending — is tied to the issue of citizen equality, Lessig has offered a plan to fix democracy first, on day one.
The appearance follows Lessig’s success in raising $1 million by Labor Day to kick-start and crowd-fund his run as this country’s first referendum candidate for President.
“American citizens are fighting for their democracy every way they can, and that includes me,” said Lessig, “Every candidate running for President, across both parties, should make a promise and a plan to fix democracy first, on day one.”
